Marty- good question. The rule is that everyone finishes on the same lap. So if you've been lapped and you pass through the start finish area and the lap cards say one lap to go, you only have one lap left. However, you'll be considered one lap behind at the finish. So, for instance, if you're in a group of 25 guys (including you) and you're the only one in the group who has been lapped, even if you won the bunch sprint, you'd still be considered last out of the group- because basically- you're a lap down.
